Fed: Nats rally but still face policy quagmire
The National Party has finished a two-day crisis gathering in southern New South Wales
promising policy changes but saying there is limited room to move.
A two-and-a-half hour closed-door meeting in the Murray River town of Corowa gave increasingly
nervous MPs and senators a chance to vent their concerns about policy direction and the
prickly issue of One Nation preferences.
