WA:Woman in hospital after house fire

PERTH, Feb 2 AAP - A woman is in hospital with cuts and minor burns after escaping
a fire that destroyed a house in the West Australian wheatbelt town of York.

Police said two women and a man escaped the blaze with the help of neighbours after
the fire started about 11.30pm (WST) on Tuesday.

The injured woman was taken to Northam Hospital for treatment of lacerations and minor burns.

Witnesses reported a loud explosion and WA Police arson squad officers are investigating.
